"John, your site has the calm and quiet of still forest glades, of ancient holy places. This essence, this gentle peace, is the spirit you have somehow embodied here. You have taken what appears at first just another house of page-views and crafted it into a chapel of electrons, a refuge where business and other travelers can pause and recharge spiritually. Today's fast-forward world offers so few havens for re-centering ourselves or for re-grounding our spiritual energies. Thanks so much for making this site, John. Its quiet impact will soothe every soul who pauses here."
Charles Burke - Author of "Inside the Minds of Winners" www.sizzlingedge.com

"Your newest website just blew me away. What a wonderful combination of wisdom and kindness. Not surprising, since those two traits are exactly what you embody in everything you do. There's an old Jewish saying, 'Words that come from the heart, enter the heart.' Thank you John; for being a friend, a mentor, and just a great example of all that is right in our world."

Because I know in every message I'm going to receive some valuable thought or idea that has the ability to positively impact my life in some way. Those who know me know that I don't mindlessly throw out such compliments. I've known John for a while now, and I'm a better person for the wisdom he's shared with me since our friendship began. "Whether you read one of John's spiritually transforming, best selling books, consult with him personally to experience the richness of his life wisdom, or join his wonderful membership website, your life can't help but be raised to a much higher dimension. You need only hear John's mind-altering definition of success (the best gosh-darn definition I ever heard!) to know he's the man who indeed will help you delightfully discover the two necessary ingredients of "a sense of purpose" and a "touch of madness!"

LETTER FROM JOHN HARRICHARAN
-------------------------------------------------------

Dear Reader:

It is time -- actually, it's long overdue -- to send
another newsletter. I have heard from many of you over
the past months and I am grateful for your kind
comments and your special emails.

This is a very busy time of the year for me. I do not
recall any time over the past ten years when I have
been so busy. But let us not ever be too busy to stop
and help someone. Because, as you know, when we give to
others, we really are giving to ourselves. It's a
universal law.

Here's what my near-term schedule looks like: I'll be
at Yanik Silver's Internet seminar in Washington, D.C.
next week, as one of his special guests. Those of you
who are attending that special event, please make sure
that we meet. It'll be a pleasure.

Then, first week in June, I'll be at Book Expo America,
in New York City, where some of my authors' books will
be on display. Later on in June I hope to be attending
the Canadian Book Show in Toronto ( if I can resolve a
scheduling conflict) and then end of June, I'll be back
in New York City to speak for Declan Dunn at one of his
major events (www.rightnowseminar.com). It promises to
be a very busy summer.

There are two important articles in today's issue. One
is called, "A Matter of Chatter." It provides some very
practical advice into a little-known way of solving
your problems. Read the article twice and try the
suggestions. You may be amazed at how quickly your
problems start resolving themselves.

The other article, "The Hardest Day" is by my good
friend, Rick Beneteau. I was so moved by his writing
that I asked his permission to share this article with
you.

The poem called, "Created for Giving," was written by a
Canadian poet and artist. I have spoken personally with
the poet and find his courage and spiritual awareness
quite remarkable.

In the "Resources, Recommendations and Comments"
section of this newsletter, you will find information
about a special website, one that Heather O'Hara,
author and spiritual artist, put together for the
benefit of all who are seeking inspiration, peace and
joy. I urge you to visit her website and subscribe to
her newsletter.

Please be sure you read the section called, "A Very
Special Announcement." It is something I've been
wanting to do for a long time for all the readers of my
newsletter. You will not want to miss this opportunity.

I am planning to hold a teleseminar series in the near
future. Anyone with access to a telephone -- no matter
what part of the world he or she lives in -- would be
able to join in these teleseminars.

Each teleseminar will be about one and a half hours
long. This will be a dynamic, spiritual "One on One
with John Harricharan" Power Teleseminar Series,
possibly held once a month. The topics all cover areas
in which so many of you have expressed great interest
-- problem-solving, event-formation, spiritual,
emotional and material matters. I am really looking
forward to these special evening "conversations" and I
hope that you will be there also.

And now, I want to ask you for a special favor. I just
need to know the best day, the best time, etc. to hold
these teleseminars. I would really appreciate it if you
took a few minutes of your time to share your opinions
with me by filling in a short survey form. This way,
I'll know how best to serve you. Here is the link for
the survey:

Thank you so very much. Now on to the newsletter.

ARTICLE: "A MATTER OF CHATTER"
-------------------------------------------------------

A John Harricharan Article

A Matter of Chatter
--A John Harricharan Article

I first met Cindy during my second year of college. It
was in the cafeteria where she bumped into me. Yes, she
literally bumped into me and her food tray went
crashing into everything. I heard her mutter under her
breath, "What an idiot!"

"Pardon me," I replied, not knowing what else to say,
but definitely feeling that it was not my fault.

"Oh no," she said, "It's always my fault. I am really
so clumsy. I am very sorry."

Then I realized that she was referring to herself when
she had said, "What an idiot." Over the months I got
to know her a little better. Sometimes we'd sit at the
same table in the cafeteria and other times I'd be
sitting next to her in a class.

It never ceased to amaze me how often she repeated the
phrase, "What an idiot", at the smallest thing that
happened. It was as if she had been programmed to
respond to the slightest misfortune with self-blame.

One day I finally asked her why she kept referring to
herself as an idiot. Her eyes opened wide as she said
that she was not aware that she did. She confessed
that it was probably a habit and that she always felt
that when anything bad happened, it was her fault.

She told me that the voice in her head always told her
that she was an idiot and pointed out that she was not
as good as others. The constant, negative chatter in
her mind had prevented her from achieving her greater
potential.

Cindy managed to graduate and we eventually lost touch
with each other. But I always wondered how she was
doing. I always hoped that she was able to still the
chatter in her mind and to change the programmed voice
to a more positive self-image.

The matter of chatter is a very serious one. If we
were to listen carefully to what we are saying to
ourselves we would find very interesting conversations
going on. If we are happy and fulfilled, these internal
conversations would probably be positive. If we are
constantly worried and depressed, we would probably
have sad and confusing conversations.

We can literally change the outside world by first
changing our inner world. Generally, it's our inner
conversations that determine what our outer world looks
like. If we constantly think sad thoughts, then our
self-talk will focus on sad things and the entire
world will appear depressing.

If we always think angry thoughts, the world will
appear angry. Even a beautiful sunset would appear to
be filled with angry shades of red. But if we think
peaceful and positive thoughts, the world will seem
peaceful and positive to us.

So how do we silence the endless chatter in our heads?
Here are a few tips:

* Try to find some quiet time each day and listen to
what you are saying to yourself. Don't be like Cindy
who kept calling herself an idiot. Once in a while we
all say terrible things about ourselves, but if we do
it too often, it becomes a habit and we start
believing those things.

* As you listen to the conversation in your head, do
not follow them. Just observe them and let them go. If
you start to focus on the thoughts, you'd get caught up
in them and then get carried away by them.

* After observing your thoughts for a while, you'll
find that they move on and you are not trapped by
them. Remember that your thoughts are not you. You only
have them. Don't even worry about replacing them with
positive thoughts; that will come later.

Simple as the above exercise may seem, it will have
the most profound effect on your life. Gradually, at
first, and then faster, you'll find that a greater
calm comes over you.

Because you've let go of the chatter, the noise
diminishes and you are now able to hear the voice of
intuition, the voice of the universe seeking to guide
and help you.

Yes, it's a matter of chatter, clatter and clutter and
if we turn the volume down, we will be able to hear
the beautiful symphonies of life.

GUEST ARTICLE: "THE HARDEST DAY"
-------------------------------------------------------

by Rick Beneteau

It was one of the hardest days of my life. The weeks
leading up to it became increasingly more difficult,
and even a few days after, my heart is still heavy.
Here's the full story . . .

My youngest daughter and I have shared a very special
relationship for twenty three years. Not only did she
have to face the normal day-to- day stuff of growing up
in this complicated world, Teri was also given the
challenge of conquering many serious medical issues and
the accompanying adversity that comes with brain
surgery and countless hospital incarcerations,
rehabilitation programs, a never-ending merry- go-round
of doctors and the juggling of powerful medications to
control her debilitating seizures.

Then, as if all this was not enough, she was partially
paralyzed on one side of her body and dealing with
'being different' from other children was also piled on
her plate.

I can still feel the lump in my throat on her first day
of kindergarten when she proudly stood at the front of
the line that was formed when the school bell rang only
to have this bigger boy push her back so he could take
her place. There were many similar hurts throughout her
younger years but together we were always able to
bounce back and forge ahead after a good daughter-daddy
talk and a refilled tank of self-esteem.

Teri also experienced the trauma of her father and
mother divorcing and her life being thrown into a state
of upheaval. Not an easy thing to get through for even
the healthiest nine year-old. We had many heart
wrenching exchanges where I did my fatherly best to
reassure her that she was not responsible for mommy and
daddy moving apart and that we loved her and her sister
more than ever. She lived with me for the majority of
time after the divorce.

Summer memories of Saturday mornings playing tee-ball
with other handicapped kids and running the bases with
her little leg brace are especially sweet to me. She
learned how to use sign language at Easter Seal camp
and an especially proud moment was when all alone on
stage she signed the song, "The Wind Beneath My Wings",
in front of the entire school body at her end-of-year
grade eight assembly.

The teenage Teri became increasingly more
self-confident and self- assertive. She graduated from
high school and signed up for college courses while
volunteering at the hospital on the children's ward
that was so often her home away from home. I can still
hear a sixteen year old's shaken voice and heavy sobs
as I tried to help soothe a first broken heart. That
day I think mine was breaking just as much!

Teri has made her father very proud turning so many
tragedies into triumphs. Today, our bond continues to
grow as other challenges and issues of life come and
go. She often helps to guide me. There hasn't been too
many days that we haven't been on the phone, often more
than once, chit chatting about something serious, or
just nothing at all. That however, is about to change.

Two years ago she met Kyle in an Internet chat room.
Yikes! They communicated online and by phone for
months. He played drums in a Christian band and she
really began to trust him. She eventually invited him
to come and visit her in Windsor. Inasmuch as I suffer
from the 'no one is good enough for my daughter'
syndrome as much as the next dad, they certainly seemed
perfectly suited for one another.

He moved down here a year ago and they made plans to be
married later this year. And, move to the city where
his parents live this spring. Four hundred long miles
away. The day I referred to in the opening sentence of
this story was, of course, moving day.

I know from the powerful, emotional feelings that
overwhelmed me for the weeks leading up to this day
that the role of parenting never really ends. It became
all the clearer to me that how much you love and deeply
care for your children only grows with time.

Something I wrote a few years back began to ring truer
than ever: "Of all the good parents I know, I can't
think of one who doesn't love their children more than
they are loved back."

To be blantantly honest, I was very surprised at how
difficult "letting go" really was for me - someone who
believes himself to be at least somewhat plugged into
the inner workings of this great universe. This was one
of those goliath heart-over-mind struggles!

Now I must also fully let go and trust the universe
that Teri is going to be ok and has made a good choice
in moving forward in her life. I must live by my own
promises to her that I would unconditionally support
her in her choices and just send her positive thoughts
and prayers. I must fully believe that as I have been
allowed to learn and grow from every choice that I have
made in my life, so must she!

A newer friend of mine, who just happened to appear in
my life at the apex of my struggle, offered this to me
the day before she moved away: "It's time to trust this
fully and completely and ride it all the way through."

So, I must make the final turn from my own selfish
feelings of fear and loss and make my reality that what
has happened here is a wonderful opportunity for growth
and advancement - for both father and daughter.

Teri is walking her walk, and so must I!

I will always hold dear the bittersweet memory of the
sunny spring day as she rolled away in a twenty-six
foot moving van to start a new life far from her
father's home, but never far from his heart.

It will remain one of the hardest days of my life.

POEM: "CREATED FOR GIVING"
-------------------------------------------------------

by Michele Angelo

Fear not this temporal world in which you dwell

Oh children eternal awaken from this dream spell

Remember your heritage is that of a Glorious Light

Greatest of marriages between Spirit and God's Mind

Inside your heart is the answer to all of your prayers

Verily I say it will transform your deepest despairs

Even when all hope seems to be lost and gone forever

Never forget this life you live is your Soul's endeavor

Eternity's dream of one of many forms to experience

Such a brilliant event as the Lord activates us in
sequence

So we unfold, as do the petals of a glorious cosmic
rose ------------

(Note: Read the first letter of each line down and see
what you get -- forgiveness)

A VERY IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
-------------------------------------------------------

In all the years I have been sending out the
Insight2000 newsletter, I have shared with you, my
readers, articles, poetry, quotes and much more.
Insight 2000's mission is to help you along life's
pathways.

I have also recommended various books, programs and
websites that I found extremely enlightening and
helpful and many of you have written to thank me for
doing so. I will continue sharing with you information
to inspire, motivate and resolve challenges.

Mark your calendar for the date of WEDNESDAY, MAY 11th,
2005. That's less than three short weeks away. On that
date, for the first time ever, I'll be putting most of
my products in one bundle, which will be offered at the
remarkably low price of $39 (USD). Some of these
products and many of the bonuses have never been
available in one place before.

Among the bonuses will be such ebook masterpieces as:

1) From the Mind and Spirit -- John Harricharan

2) The Millionaire's Seminar -- Foster Hibbard

3) The Secret of the Twelve -- R. W. Kleine

4) Success, A Spiritual Matter -- Rick Beneteau

5) Conquering Fear -- R. W. Kleine

6) Life and Other Options -- Anita Bergen

7) The Intuition Report -- John Harricharan

8) I Love to Hate, But I Hate When I do Not Love -- A.
Vish

9) The Answer IS -- Butch James (MP3 audio)

And many, many more -- you'll find it hard to believe
all that's included in the package for $39.

I'm so happy to announce that the main product will be
"The PowerPause." This opportunity will only be
available for three days, starting 12:01 AM on,
Wednesday, May 11th, 2005. For those who have not read
"The PowerPause -- Three Minutes, Three Steps to
Personal Success and Real Happiness" and wanted to --
but the price was out of reach -- you'll now have the
opportunity to own it, as well as all the bonuses.

However, there's a slight problem: because this is the
first ever major promotion of these life-affirming
products -- and since many of my Internet friends will
be telling their lists about this opportunity on May
11th -- it is entirely possible that the demand would
be so great that not everyone would be able to obtain
the package during the limited space of three days.
Since you are a reader of my newsletter, I wanted you
to be aware of this opportunity before it happens, so
that you could secure your very own copies.

Here is what I'll do: On May 11th at about 12:01 AM, I
will send out an email to all Insight2000 subscribers
with a special link for ordering. This will make it
possible for you to avoid the rush, which will follow
shortly thereafter.

If you already own a copy of "The PowerPause," get one
for a friend or loved one. If you haven't used it, try
it; you'll experience the tremendous power of this
problem-solving formula.

Over the years, I've received many emails from people
who wanted to buy "The PowerPause" but found that they
could not afford it. For five years, it has been
selling on the Internet for $97. Now I'm making it
possible for all those who want a copy to be able to
get it. And the bonuses? Many of them are priceless.

Really, the added bonuses alone are worth many, many
times the modest $39 price... . And that's before
adding on the main product, "The PowerPause," which, as
mentioned before, has sold for many years at $97 on the
Internet.

So watch your inbox on May 11th for this rare
opportunity. I am excited about it. After you see the
entire package and the priceless bonuses, I know you
will be, too!

Remember: One man gets nothing but discord out of a
piano; another gets harmony. No one claims the piano is
at fault. Life is about the same. The discord is there.
Study to play it correctly, and it will give forth the
beauty; play it falsely, and it will give forth the
ugliness. Life is not at fault.
