"John,
your site has the calm and quiet of still forest glades, of ancient
holy places. This essence, this gentle peace, is the spirit you
have somehow embodied here. You have taken what appears at first
just another house of page-views and crafted it into a chapel
of electrons, a refuge where business and other travelers can
pause and recharge spiritually. Today's fast-forward world offers
so few havens for re-centering ourselves or for re-grounding
our spiritual energies. Thanks so much for making this site,
John. Its quiet impact will soothe every soul who pauses here."
Charles Burke - Author of "Inside the Minds of Winners"

"Your
newest website just blew me away. What a wonderful combination
of wisdom and kindness. Not surprising, since those two traits
are exactly what you embody in everything you do. There's an
old Jewish saying, 'Words that come from the heart, enter the
heart.' Thank you John; for being a friend, a mentor, and just
a great example of all that is right in our world."
Bob Burg, author

and "The Success Formula"

"John
Harricharan is recognized by hundreds of thousands as one of
the most influential spiritual leaders of today. I am blessed
to call this man both my mentor and my great friend."
Rick Beneteau - Author,
"A Large Slice of Life to Go, Please!"
"Every
time I get an email from John Harricharan I literally light up!
Why is that you ask? Because I know in every message I'm going
to receive some valuable thought or idea that has the ability
to positively impact my life in some way. Those who know me know
that I don't mindlessly throw out such compliments. I've known
John for a while now, and I'm a better person for the wisdom
he's shared with me since our friendship began. He is a true
giver in every sense of the word. John kudos to you for sharing
your knowledge with others. You rock my friend! ..."

"I call
John Harricharan the Mystic MBA, and I think of him as my shamanic
business advisor. Over the years, he has introduced me to the
ideas of a number of spiritual thinkers, and his counsel has
already made a lasting difference in my life and my business.

"Whether
you read one of John's spiritually transforming, best selling
books, consult with him personally to experience the richness
of his life wisdom, or join his wonderful membership website,
your life can't help but be raised to a much higher dimension.
You need only hear John's mind-altering definition of success
(the best gosh-darn definition I ever heard!) to know he's the
man who indeed will help you delightfully discover the two necessary
ingredients of "a sense of purpose" and a "touch
of madness!"

LETTER FROM JOHN HARRICHARAN
-------------------------------------------------------
Dear Reader:
It has been entirely too long since I've been in touch.
I did not want to wait a day longer to write all of you
to thank you for your best wishes and prayers during
the time I've been "off the radar".
I do not worry too much about health situations (at
least, not in the past few years) and yet, with all I
know and do, I had pneumonia for the second time. It is
sometimes difficult to understand why these things
happen. But, when they do, there is always (or almost
always) a deeper meaning.
That illness set me back in my work for almost two
months. But, the work is still there and the world
continues to turn on its axis and the sun also rises.
It brought to mind some words a yogi once shared with
me. He said, "At times, it doesn't matter what you do,
and at times, it doesn't matter what you don't do."
Sometimes we work too hard, push too hard, take care of
the entire world and neglect our own selves. That, in
my opinion is just as bad as doing nothing and caring
about nothing or no one. For harmony, peace and
success, balance is necessary.
I'm sorry I have not been able to keep in touch. I have
written very, very few emails and taken very few phone
calls. The slightest physical effort still drains me of
energy. But I am doing fine and it's only a matter of
time and perspective before I'm "on my feet again", so
to speak.
I am grateful to all of you and miss you all. Many
times, I wish you lived next door so I could run over
and have a cup of coffee or tea and enjoy your company.
But, then again, as an old friend, Richard Bach, once
wrote, "There's no such place as far away." You are as
close to me as a thought.
Have a wonderful day and may your paths always be
blessed.
Peace, joy and love,
John
Thank you. Now on to the newsletter.

QUOTEs TO REMEMBER
-------------------------------------------------------
"You are never given a wish without also being given
the power to make it true. You may have to work for it,
however."
-Richard Bach
"Having the world's best idea will do you no good
unless you act on it. People who want milk shouldn't
sit on a stool in the middle of a field in hopes that a
cow will back up to them."
--Alfred Adler

ARTICLE: "A TIME FOR ACTION"
-------------------------------------------------------
A John Harricharan Article
I have a bad habit… actually, a number of them. But I
won't bore you with the entire list. I just want to
discuss one that I believe many of us have. If we would
try to correct it, our lives and businesses would
become much more productive.
You see, the habit I speak of is a very common one--
the one where we try to learn everything about the
problem, then proceed to do nothing. Let me explain.
Among my other interests, I have some Internet
businesses. In order to learn more, I buy every book or
audio about web businesses and yet, many times, do very
little with the information I've bought.
There are reasons for this. But, on closer examination,
many of those reasons are simply excuses. The trick is
to do something with what you've got, to take action.
There is no guarantee that you'll succeed if you try,
but you'll definitely not succeed if you do nothing.
Many people consult with me about their problems. They
call from all over the globe. Do you know what is the
greatest block to their success? The fear of taking
action.
Still worse, they expect things to happen without
taking any steps to assist the process. They look for
some outside force to change their lives without they,
themselves, becoming personally involved.
I am reminded of the story about the man who went to
church every day to pray. His only prayer was "Dear
God, please let me win the lottery." One day, in deep
prayer, he was explaining to God the good things he'd
do with the money if he won. Suddenly, a deep voice
filled the entire church. "Give me a break, Jake," it
said, "Buy a ticket."
And so it is with us. If we want to succeed, we must do
something about it. We must take action and participate
in our own life. The many resources are useless unless
I use them. It used to be that I'd try to learn
everything I could about how to get my web business up
and running. Then I'd sit around and wonder what it is
I should do, or if I could do it right.
I'd hope that something magical would happen and that
tens of thousands of visitors would come to my web
site. But it didn't work that way. It was only when I
actively started using what I had learned and
maintaining an attitude of success that things started
to work.
Yes, my business runs vary well now. Yet I am sure
there is still room for improvement, but it's nothing
like it used to be. We have to do something with what
we have. The secret is not to just become information
collectors, but to act on the information.
I heard the story of a preacher who was walking through
an overgrown area of wild brush, thorns and weeds. It
certainly wasn't the best place for farming. All of a
sudden, he came upon this beautiful farm and saw the
farmer working in the distance.
He walked over to the farmer and commented, "Brother,
what a beautiful farm the good Lord has given you."
Wiping the sweat from his brow, the old farmer looked
up at the preacher, smiled and replied, "Reverend, you
should have seen it when the good Lord had it."
We must take what we have and add some action to
produce the results we desire ... and not only action,
but spirit and enthusiasm. This is the way of our
relationships, our finances and businesses and even our
very lives. We can transform them all by taking right
action. Think, but do not get trapped in the process of
thinking. Analyze, but don't get caught in the
"paralysis of analysis."
Take action. Do something with what you have. All of us
have talents and abilities that are unique. But those
same talents and abilities will get us nowhere if we
spend a lifetime wondering about them. Take action.
Take the step today. The rest will follow.

"Ideas have a short shelf life - that's why we must act
before the expiration date."
--Andrew Carnegie
"The person who really wants to do something finds a

POEM: "DON'T QUIT"
-------------------------------------------------------
Anonymous
When things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all up hill,
When the funds are low and the debts are high,
And you want to smile, but you have to sigh,
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest, if you must -- but don't you quit
Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As everyone of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about
When he might have won had he stuck it out;
Don't give up, though the pace seems slow --
You might succeed with another blow.
Often the goal is nearer than
It seems to a faint and faltering man,
Often the struggler has given up
When he might have captured the victor's cup.
And he learned too late, when the night slipped down,
How close he was to the golden crown.
Success is the failure turned inside out --
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt --
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems afar;
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit --
It's when things seem worst that you mustn't quit.

STILL MORE QUOTES TO PONDER
-------------------------------------------------------
"I'm hardnosed about luck. Yeah, if you spend seven
years looking for a job as a copywriter, and then one
day somebody gives you a job, you can say, 'Gee, I was
lucky I happened to go up there today.' But dammit, I
was going to go up there sooner or later in the next
seventy years.... If you're persistent in trying and
doing and working, you almost make your own fortune."
--Jerry Della Femina
"The critical ingredient is getting off your butt and
doing something. It's as simple as that. A lot of
people have ideas, but there are few who decide to do
something about them now. Not tomorrow. Not next week.
But today. The true entrepreneur is a doer."
--Nolan Bushnell, Founder of Atari Computer
