"John,
your site has the calm and quiet of still forest glades, of ancient
holy places. This essence, this gentle peace, is the spirit you
have somehow embodied here. You have taken what appears at first
just another house of page-views and crafted it into a chapel
of electrons, a refuge where business and other travelers can
pause and recharge spiritually. Today's fast-forward world offers
so few havens for re-centering ourselves or for re-grounding
our spiritual energies. Thanks so much for making this site,
John. Its quiet impact will soothe every soul who pauses here."
Charles Burke - Author of "Inside the Minds of Winners"
www.sizzlingedge.com
"Your
newest website just blew me away. What a wonderful combination
of wisdom and kindness. Not surprising, since those two traits
are exactly what you embody in everything you do. There's an
old Jewish saying, 'Words that come from the heart, enter the
heart.' Thank you John; for being a friend, a mentor, and just
a great example of all that is right in our world."
Bob Burg, author
"Endless Referrals", "Winning Without Intimidation"
and "The Success Formula"
http://www.burg.com
"John
Harricharan is recognized by hundreds of thousands as one of
the most influential spiritual leaders of today. I am blessed
to call this man both my mentor and my great friend."
Rick Beneteau - Author,
"A Large Slice of Life to Go, Please!"
"Every
time I get an email from John Harricharan I literally light up!
Why is that you ask? Because I know in every message I'm going
to receive some valuable thought or idea that has the ability
to positively impact my life in some way. Those who know me know
that I don't mindlessly throw out such compliments. I've known
John for a while now, and I'm a better person for the wisdom
he's shared with me since our friendship began. He is a true
giver in every sense of the word. John kudos to you for sharing
your knowledge with others. You rock my friend! ..."
Josh Hinds - http://GetMotivation.com
"An icon

along with an unparalleled warmth of spirit. He is one of the
Master Teachers of the world."
jl scott, ph.d., Director of iCop http://www.i-Cop.org
"I call
John Harricharan the Mystic MBA, and I think of him as my shamanic
business advisor. Over the years, he has introduced me to the
ideas of a number of spiritual thinkers, and his counsel has
already made a lasting difference in my life and my business.
"
Paul Lemberg, author of "Earn Twice As Much With Half
the Stress" and "Faster Than the Speed of Change".
Director, Stratamax Research. www.stratamax.com
"Whether
you read one of John's spiritually transforming, best selling
books, consult with him personally to experience the richness
of his life wisdom, or join his wonderful membership website,
your life can't help but be raised to a much higher dimension.
You need only hear John's mind-altering definition of success
(the best gosh-darn definition I ever heard!) to know he's the
man who indeed will help you delightfully discover the two necessary
ingredients of "a sense of purpose" and a "touch
of madness!"

LETTER FROM JOHN HARRICHARAN
-------------------------------------------------------
Dear Reader:
It has been entirely too long since I've been in touch,
with you. The problem with email these days is everyone
sends tons of emails selling everything on Earth. The
problem I have is that I only send you three or four
newsletters a year and hardly sell anything. If you
look carefully, you'll see that this is the second
newsletter I am sending out this year.
However, that is about to change. I will be trying to
send out a newsletter, at least once a month. Those of
you who've written to me asking me to send my
newsletter more often, I've heard you. I am glad you
enjoy the life-affirming articles, the inspirational
quotes and the other information.
But please, please do me a favor. If you do not read or
intend to read my newsletters, please go to the bottom
of the email you used to get to this page and take yourself off the list. I will be
sad to see you go, but I will know that only those who
really want to benefit from Insight2000ezine will
remain on the mailing list.
At least, I won't have to contend with readers like the
one guy who wrote irate emails that he hated my
newsletter and that I was not spiritual because he read
somewhere that I eat chicken. He said that anyone who
eats chicken is evil. All he had to do was to
unsubscribe.
Or the other person who told me to stop writing these
"silly newsletters" and prepare for the imminent
invasion from Saturn so that I will be saved. I guess
that with thousands of readers from over 150
countries, there will always be a few who would have
major, divergent views about reality. And that's OK.
There's an easy way for them to solve the problem. All
they have to do is to take their names off the list.
And, yes, every once in a while, I recommend that you
buy something that costs a few dollars. The reason for
that is I really believe that the recommendation would
help you. Most times, I send you gifts -- like free
copies of my award-winning bestsellers, valuable audio
files and such.
So again, if you do not read or intend to read my
newsletters, if you think I shouldn't eat chicken or
that I should prepare for the invasion from Saturn,
just go to the bottom of the email that brought you to this page and follow the
link that will remove your name from my list. I will
miss you for a while, but life will continue. It always
does.
Please read the section later in this newsletter that
is called, "Some Important Information." It'll tell you
about my writing and publishing course, which I give
somewhat infrequently. It will offer you a chance to
become an author. If you're at all interested in
writing a book, or in getting your manuscript
published, please let me know right away since this
eclass always fills up quickly.
And now, thank you, and on to the newsletter.
John
P.S. I am also on FaceBook if you search for "John

QUOTEs TO REMEMBER
-------------------------------------------------------
"Prepare yourself for that which you are seeking. Know
that what you are seeking is also seeking you. Know
that the forces of the universe will rush in to bring
that which you want, provided of course, you want it
badly enough and believe that you can get it -- or
better yet, deserve it."
--John Harricharan
"You do not need to leave your room. Remain sitting at
your table and listen. Do not even listen, simply wait.
Do not even wait, be quite still and solitary. The
world will freely offer itself to you to be unmasked,
it has no choice, it will roll in ecstasy at your
feet."
--Franz Kafka

ARTICLE: "A Dog's Tale"
-------------------------------------------------------
A John Harricharan Article
Long, long ago, I once had a dog. He was a beautiful
dog, a purebred collie called Rajah. It's not that I
didn't have other dogs before -- dogs with names that
didn't seem dog-like, yet they were my dogs with names
I picked for them -- names like Gelert, Magnet, Titan
and such other monickers. But I digress, so let me get
back to Rajah.
Rajah and I would run around the yard, go for long
walks and generally enjoy life as only man and dog
could. But one day, in that long ago time, my dog
taught me a lesson that has remained with me and serves
me well even to this day.
I had just returned from an overseas trip to East
Africa. In those days, I traveled extensively and was
able to visit some of the most fascinating places on
Earth. But no matter how beautiful the scenery, how
wonderful the visits, returning home was always a joy.
Soon after I arrived home, I decided to take Rajah for
a short walk. After all, I hadn't seen him in almost
two weeks. He must have been very excited to see me
again because he started running all over the place,
coming up to me, running away from me, returning back
and then running away again.
After a while, it was time for me to go back into the
house so I walked up to Rajah with the thought of
putting the leash on him and taking him back. The
minute he saw me coming to get him, he turned around
and started running away. I ran after him, but to no
avail. The more I chased him, the faster and farther he
ran. This kept on for about five minutes and I was
beginning to become a bit frustrated.
Perhaps, Rajah thought it was a new game to have me
chasing after him, but whatever he thought didn't
matter to me anymore. I was tired after my long flight
and wanted to rest a bit and spend some time with my
human family. So again, I ran after Rajah. Again he ran
away. Every time I stopped running after him, he'd stop
and look at me.
Suddenly, a new idea came to mind. I turned around, and
started running away from Rajah. Immediately he chased
after me and came right up close, so that I could put
the leash on and take him back to his dog house.
You may be wondering what all this has to do with a
lesson. Well, you see, solutions to our problems are
somewhat like Rajah. That's what I learned many years
ago. The more we chase after solutions, the farther
away they seem to be. The answers seem to run away from
us. However, when we stop running and put the problem
out of our minds, the answers start running toward us.
Don't run after the answers to your problems. Just
relax, become quiet and let the answers flow into your
mind. The longest conversation we have is the one we
have with ourselves from the moment we wake up to the
moment we fall asleep.
Because we're busy talking to ourselves, the internal
noise crowds out the very answers we're seeking. It is
in becoming still that we start to hear the answers to
our problems, we start to recognize the still, small
voice of the universe.
It doesn't matter what the problems are. It could be a
matter of money, relationship or health. The same force
that solves one problem could solve any of the others.
All we have to do is stop running, get quiet and create
an environment in our being where the solutions come to
us.
Rajah has been gone for many years, but he left me with
a lesson that has served me well to this day.
Desperately run after solutions to your problems and
the very solutions you need will run away from you.
Stop running and become quiet, and those solutions you
thought were beyond your reach will come to you and
change your world.

find; knock, and it will be opened to you."

POEM: "My Wage"
-------------------------------------------------------
Jessie B. Rittenhouse
I bargained with Life for a penny,
And Life would pay no more,
However I begged at evening
When I counted my scanty store.
For Life is a just employer,
He gives you what you ask,
But once you've set the wages,
Why, you must bear the task.
I worked for a menial's hire,
Only to learn dismayed,
That any wage I had asked of Life,
Life would have gladly paid.

STILL MORE QUOTES TO PONDER
-------------------------------------------------------
"Seeking after security, at the cost of all else,
will bring security at the cost of everything else.
Seek security as a means to an end and never as an end
in itself."
--John Harricharan
"Wherever you go in the midst of movement and activity,
carry your stillness within you. Then the chaotic
movement around you will never overshadow your access
to the reservoir of creativity, the field of pure
potentiality."
--Deepak Chopra
